wouldnt it be more effective to get a lower running thermostat...that way the fan will kick in at a lower temperature cooling the bay down before getting too hot....god i remember the days of corsa's... sit in traffic with a sport for 30 secs and the fans kick in lol. i really wouldnt bother mate...spend the cash else where...maybe on a helmet or summat?

at the same time it puts a lot more heat into the item that has been wrapped aswell though.
from having rediculous things to heat up an engine bay over the last few years in my corsa, id just not worry about it.

Not really worth it tbh. Save the money and buy something more worthwhile!

Gez c16b have you noticed a difference in performance with al this heat under the bonnet??
Does the car feel slower when its up to temp??
Cant say i noticed a difference with my old XE corsa with an Ashley oversized manifold. And id imagine that would be considerably hotter.
