Coming back from work just now, getting no boost so drive it gently home, add a little acceleration to get up a steep hill and a massive cloud of white/blue smoke comes pouring out of the back

Predictions?

Rebuilt turbo? Was it paid for by you or the previous owner?

Most turbo places won't accept a warrenty claim from anyone other than the person who paid for it.

Warrenty can also state that the original owner is only covered by warrenty. Like the S/S exhaust places tend to do it only for the original owner. Hope you get it sorted smoothly fella

Maybe a poor rebuild mate. Wouldn't worry about it,

Just clean the pipework and intercooler out before refitting if it's getting sorted again.

Every problem i have had has been due to loose bolts i think the chap that rebuilt it just put it back together and didnt torque it up. Then sold it on and didnt remember to inform me

Also would have been nice to know that the shaft in the turbo has reverse thread

I Havent maneged to get it running for very long yet due to no rad but its still very slightly smoking, would this be becuase of the oil residue in the boost pipes?
