Had my car keyed this evening outside my house. Phoned the Police and got a crime number.
I'm not that bothered about the scratch as it has worse which i've done myself However, the fact they took my reg details and pulled up insurance details makes me think this is going to effect my premium

Unless you claim it wont go on your file. They just pulled up your insurace details to see if they could send you 6 points in return for £200 via post.

In all fairness, the Police as just doing a job like the rest of us.
They are coming out to inspect the damage in the next hour. Hopefully drag the little shit out of his bed who i suspect done it.

Our jobs dont specify we rob people of money using fines as a stealth tax though!
They will just crime it, give you a number then not bother with anymore investigation as they wont want the paperwork.
