No Tim, contrary to what AP says, fitting a tow-bar to your car ISN'T modifying it.

I'm waiting for someone to drop in the 2.2 lump. It's lighter than the 2L lump and torquier too. Another plus is that it sits in the reverse position so the inlet manifold is at the front. Pop some TBs on and build a nice ram-air scoop to feed them pressurised cold air. Mmmm....

You've just given me an idea Andy hehehe. Out of interest, does such a TB kit exist? I assume there's nowhere near as much knowledge out there regarding tuning that engine as there is tuning the 2 litre. How much do you reckon one would go for? Less than a LET? Mmmmm.....

Not sure what the inlet size is on the 2.2 head, but I'd be surprised if it was markedly different to the 2L. If there's nothing that doesn't already bolt straight on, I'm sure an existing kit could be fairly easily modified.

Not so much knowledge about tuning the 2.2 because it's a newer engine - it has a longer stroke than 2.0L so maybe would be hard to get it up to crazy revs. But I reckon that simply slapping on TBs without internal mods would see it absolutely fly...
