ok so i was looking around for parts on pricing things up before i get my shell, and came across something which has stumped me and my mate
Corsa B type 1 bodyshell. Corsa B type 2 bodyshell, does anyone no what the difference between the type 1 and 2 is
sorry if this seems a really stupid question, just i am starting from scratch and dont no what this means

more than likely i would of thought
8v & 16v is more to do with engine, rather than shell...

Wrong.
They are different shells for the 8v and 16v.

when i say shells, i dont mean anything massive.
Go to Chris Astley's site & look at xe conversion parts, type 1 & type 2.
All to do with engine mounts.

and pas
type 1 = 8v, no pas
type 2 = pas equipt, 12v or 16v engined shells

so shell 1 would be 8v and shell 2 would be 16v what would the 12v be, the same as the 12v

like i said above, 12v is a type 2 shell, so need a chassis mount along with the normal conversion mounts

Also try and find one which has the strengthened B pillar (very late ones i believe) so it doesnt crack or find out about doing the strengthening yourself. Should be something on the net about it.
