Don't think a 550i SE (so not got the silly hard M-Sports suspension) could really be beaten.
However, for cheap motorway comfort, I drove to Leeds and back in dad's 120d (170ps version) which has M-Sport suspension. 180 miles one way, and I only had to stop because I needed a wee, I wasn't tired at all. Fantastic car. Sitting between 70mph and 90mph depending on traffic, and it did 360 miles on £30.

its a foot rest... i asked our DET (master Tech) he used to work for ferrari and infact yesterday went to a ferrari owners club meet/track day.. They all just hand him their keys
