My mother in law has got a T-reg Zafira and wants a new car.

Is this scrappage thing worth it? What are peoples opinions on it?

I think it's good if you're scrapping something that isn't worth much and you're getting discount which you otherwise wouldn't get.

I've always bought pre-registered cars saving thousands off the new price. You still can get a much better deal this way.

However, for a work horse, i'm sticking with decent runarounds now.
