Personally quite taken by them tbh - don't think they're "gay" / "girly" etc. Yes I know the Abarth is the proper one to have but they cost a lot more
Anybody driven one / own one?
1.3 Multijet engine btw.
Opinions please!

Can get an 08 with 4k miles for 8k, i'd have that over a new 1.0 or 1.2.
Base spec doesn't look as good but whatever ones have slightly different bumpers are nice.
Guys driving them look a bit though, it's too small.

I really like them, but I don't think I could bring myself to buying one! Think I'll be trading in the Punto for a 1.9 Punto some time soon though

Why is the Diesel still not ok for blokes to drive?
Colour wise they're not exactly girly colours and the spec etc is pretty impressive for the money.

I didn't think anything of blokes driving them till I seen a bloke driving one, looked like a noddy car.

The by Diesel ones are cool.
Quite like the Ferrari Red 500s too...

Seen a few in red now, and just not sure on them tbh. White I liked, but is waaaay to common now.
Liking the green of the Diesel one above and also the weird brown they do. CBA with black

I think they are based on POP spec iirc?
I quite like them in 'by Diesel' spec.

Isn't the POP spec the base model? According to the spec list of the "by Diesel" one they're near on top spec - barely any options list as it has all of it already??

i'd go for the grande punto diesel if you want a fiat diesel mate. 500 suit girls, i think a man in one will look too big for it. an as people said 'noddy' car.

I was tempted, then I saw a nice saph black Astra sport hatch 1.9cdti...with the stage 2 regal tuning completed...good for around 220bhp...and with 17k on the clocks...£9500...shame the bank wont loan me the money...but I think I will be going for that myself! As much as the Fiat looks quite cool. I cant go for a punto 1.9 as my mate has one, and it wouldnt be cricket to get the same car.

I quite like driving the 500's, they're like go karts, chuck on the sport styling kit an they look so much better and less girly!
Diesels look quite cool aswell, I can't say I've ever seen one in our workshop though.. Mainly MiTo's that were selling
Edit: I should probably clear up there being prepped not fixed

I like these cars, sat in one down the fiat dealership, and it sure is a nice car, but I couldn't help but feel a little gay in it. Still, seemed remarkably spacious for what it was. Rather a grande punto personally, or a mito

I think the original 500 was voted the gayest car of all time, or something along those lines....
