We can't go to Billing because we're not in the VBOA.
The reason I don't like doing lots of shows is I would rather smash a few and have a fully equipped stand than spread the funds too thinly.

Hows it going getting into the VBOA Ian? Some of the organisation of the clubs that have got into it are ridiculous (I know, im a member of one!)
Out of all the clubs I've ever attended shows with CS is by far the most organised.
I imagine its still the same petty rules that are stopping CS joining?

No, the fact we didn't return stopped us.
They want offline systems for offline members and I don't.
To my knowledge other clubs have got in by winging it which I'm not prepared to do. It's not petty as such, it's just their ideas of what a club should look like differ from the CS model.
They're also far too democratic. The thought of voting for a chairman scares me. I far prefer being dictatorial philanthropist.

Stuff like monthly magazines sent out to peoples homes and newsletters?
Yeah, theres a few clubs i know of that basically do the ultra bare minimum (if that) to be a member, they hardly exist as a club per se, not like this one anyway.
Its a shame really as Billing is a great show, and it would be awesome to see CS turnout there.
Ah well, all hail our leader Ian
