yup, TypeR's are manic wee buggers with the short gearing.... and interesting with crap tyres
First day we owned our old black STi IV TypeR I nearly slid off a motorway sideways coming off a round about, easy in 2nd, into 3rd then booted it.... back end slapping about
They are a lot more RWD like than people pressume with the DCCD left untouched.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was just going to be pictures of nice looking, random imprezas. Didn't think it'd have as much of a point as it does, which makes it a wee bit shit that I'm just going to plonk a random pic in. But I think it's definetley one of the nicest Scoobs I've ever seen. Quite standard and I don't have any spec, but I've yet to see a red Impreza I think.
Hope you don't mind AK.

i do like them! Wouldnt mind the Spec C RA-R ..... Hate the bug eye'd things
Here's Duncan Grahams.... 2nd place in Club 4WD just now (possibly controversial 1st )

You've never seen a red Impreza, or just not in the shape? Red classics all over the place.

Not seen any in the classic shape tbh, maybe just that I've not noticed. Deffo none in the style there (hawk eye?) which would be why I thought it was a cool pic.
I'd quite like a big powered Impreza, or even a go in one to see what they're like. That one there's pretty immense looking, any other pics? Spec?
