I had a similar problem, decided I'm going to set off at 4am tomorow morning - 3hours and a bit drive

im setting off to get my mate at 2.30am, set off at 3am, get to services for 4am to meet the rest of westmidlands CS members, then take a steady drive down.. (from 4.30am ish)
should get there around 5.30am..

yep on tarmac other side of the strip next to the finish line and we've got a good size area to fill, loads of cars on the stand today & hopefully a few more tomorrow

oh also make sure to take a bucket/sponge/cleaning gear as your car will get muddy on the way in .. the camp site is a mess so there's mud everywhere

yeah was a bit bleak this morning due to the weather but the organisers etc. were putting a brave face on and kept things fairly busy, track opened by about 11-12 so we did get to see a bit of the action, willay/ian & the crew have been doing great organising the stand & sorting food/drink & plenty of banter too

This might make me sound stupid, but do you have to bring water or do they have a supply there for this purpose?
Mine's pretty clean now but seeing as it's been raining almost all day it's going to get filthy on the way there
