Wasn't sure where to put this post but GC will do.

For those that have bought tents for PV, where have you got them from? I looked in a couple of places but there either really expensive for a small one or just generally shit.

Morrows 15 for a 3 man tent.

its only going to be used for sleeping and being sick in.

so no point spending silly money on one

Have you tried Yeomans?

Some cheap ones in the clearance section if you dont want to spend much.

A Tesco near me sells tents. £10 for a 2 man tent. Really good value.

i bought one from argos on offer, £22.00 for a 4 man, at that price i dont care if it gets ruined

dont see why that's a funny thing to ask? I was being serious.

Police charged my cousin for doing just that... his car was parked up on private land and he was asleep on the back seat

isnt it todo with the keys being in or located somewhre near the ignition? i cnt rmemeber?? but at mod nats, the camp site was treated as pblic property and i have seen the plcie go round tht, i cased them pissed as a fart last year

They dont even have to be in the ignition. If you're in the car with the keys, your "in charge" of that vehicle

I slept in the car last time as I couldn't be bothered setting up the tent.
Will probably set up the tent this time as it'll be for two nights rather than the one.

everyone camps in cars, no police walkin round, so will be be fine, just get a £10-£15 one, try lidl or tescos, places like that, thats what i did for donny and just left it there, needless to say that was cos i woke up to snow and thought fuck that!

private land you can drive your car around pissed up the po po cant do fook all, unless the owner has called them, iirc last year the poilce were at the entrance for noise regulations so i herd thats why it took so long to get out.
