Do you drive a car?, as quite quick is not what I'd say about the 1.6 golf. The 2.0 8v in the GTi Mk4 was awful as well.

Yea i drive a 1.0 Litre, thats why i deemed it quick lol

fair enough we all have to start somewhere. i used to have a 1.2 8v many years ago, so I know what slow is.
Used to drive a GT TDi 150 in the same colour, was a great car, very comfy with full leather and had oodles of torque

Good call about the wheels, They just dont work ever,
It looks a nice start, But not a fan of that kit at all, But i'm into OEM thats my mine looks like this...

Yea this is the newer one he brought, has a 1.8 Sri too which is a 03 plate, a bit greedy i thought. Will try and get some pictures.

As standard they arent quick.My Mk3 Golf 16v isnt what id call quick and itl show a standard 20vt Golf the way home.
With a remap tho it totally transforms them.

yeah i agree my friend had a rev 1 and it tranformed the car.
i had a mk3 golf gti 16v.... it was a tank i liked it

1.8ts are v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-slow trust me, But i have had a Redtop corsa so everythin seems slow now

Nice cars, slow as hell though! The only models worth having are the r32's or the diesel's. They're getting very cheap now!
