I popped down the road to Halfrauds on saturday in search of some poly bushes for the front end of my car, on the way back I could hear a slight grinding noise coming from the passenger side. A little concerned I slowed down and took it very gently the rest of the way home with this horrible grinding noise getting worse and worse. I managed to make it home, jacked the car up to find my disk had been rubbing on the caliper bracket and the disk had now siezed tight up against the bracket NOT what you want when all your tools are 200 miles away! Luckily, Tom Simes came to my rescue and lent me a tool kit. After stripping her down I found all this damage

M-Tech hub - sheared

State of the disks and pads

Caliper bracket

Just spent £197.47 with LMF on replacement parts. To be fair to them, their service on the phone was outstanding and they were very understanding. On order now I have
x2 new big block hubs
x2 new wheel bearings (I only replaced these a few weeks ago too )
A set of polybushes for the front end
and a set of v6 pads.

Unfortunately they couldnt sort me out with any disks so im off up to uni when I find a set to drill them out.

Sorry for the rant!

I can drill them myself so its not really a problem for me, plus I already have the spigot rings too
