i have a corsa with a cable driven speedo so went the scrap yard an got a electronic speedo wth sensor that went in gearbox had three wires 1 black 1 brown i think blue an black can any one help

i have put the black wire too live an the brown too earth an the other too the back of the clock but still no speedo
