As for recommending a shampoo, i'm not sure on the best, but Polished Bliss wouldn't sell a product just because everyone already uses it and they would make a lot of money. They will only sell something if they've used it and they can recommend it.
They're always willing to help people and answer questions, and you can email them for free car care advise.
They also sponsor quite a few forums (such as the "Concours d'élégance" section of Passionford.com) so you could sign up/log in there and get some recommendations.
Since my brother owns and loves Subarus, i'm sure he would know the best products for you to use.
