...........(im getting into these thread titles now) wide arches for a corsa that fit with std bumpers etc? as in fit with a gsi bumper etc? just as i want to run wider tyres and already have issues with them catching the arches as they are.

anyone............

...........know of anythin?

the wing itself has the lip rolled. the plastic outer arch bit is trimmed as far as it can without starting to remove the original shape from it etc. i just was thinking if i can get wider plastic arches, might fit wider tyres on.

i mean could cut some wings, and widen them by welding metal in i guess

i think the company name was peter maiden or something. advertised in max power etc. years ago, dont know if theyre still about but they used to do something

dont think theres anything you can do really with the standard metal wing. could get some fibreglass one and try doing some bodging with them maybe.

theyre not bad. not sure how well they would line up or look with a gsi bumper. look to hang down a lot also. might look into a full wide arch kit in the future instead.

didn't jimmy use astra arches and just cut the wings to suit and modded the arches to fit so that gave him more room?

i remember a few years ago in max power they did something in it iirc was the tuning.o.uk page but thats was 2002/3 iirc
but im sureive seen some thing on the irmscher site and to follow the lines go on bumper too

yeah there was something irmscher did for the arches now i remember, a new member came on here before, it was the same colour as tom simes corsa

the rallycross cars use wide arches and standard gsi bumpers

i think it just looks bent out, gsi bumpers are quite bendy ive found out few times before
