very nice cars, my dad and bro both have 325 m sports and even though they arent the quickest of cars i think they make up for it in every other way.
I recently drove my friends 55 plate 320 cd sport and it drives beautifully. If i was looking for a e46 i'd definatly be looking at the 320d or 330d then map it.

just the usual really, check suspension as its expensive to replace and just make sure all the electrics work(seats,mirrors,lights etc) as anything like that can be pricey.
just check inspection 1 and 2 have been done when needed

My dad used to have a e46 330i sport touring with the 18" wheels was a total beast, quite quiet and refined at normal speed and given full throttle roars a beast that was 230bhp.
