Driving back down the A12 an hour or 2 ago, went under a bridge with a van on. From distance it looked dark blue, and had "VG" written on the side with what could have ever been a royal seal or police logo on the door. Any ideas what it was ?

That'd be worse, as police vans don't require the speed camera sign on the side ! What would VG stand for ?

3am surely if it wasn't a lit up part of the road the light from your headlights will blur the camera?!

I think it was lit, but only a couple of lights, not enough for me to make out the bridge let alone the van (as it wasnt flurescent).
I'm fingers crossed it was just a bloke in a van taking a break.

Could be VE - video equipped. They're usually fluorescent/hi vis vans though.
