i had omp disks and pads, there were awsome! had them glowing and everything, and not a crack in the disks, and they take ages to have any sign of fade

Green stuff pads are shit from my experience.

Not had a decent set of pads yet, may spend the extra and get brilliant disks and pads when I get new calipers.

What do you use the car for? Standard GM discs and pads are usually adequate.

Are you staying with standard sizes or going larger?

From memory the 2.0l brakes are the same size disc as the 1.6l but a larger caliper. They're excellent on a Corsa as a basic upgrade when coupled with braided hoses too.
