If you take your lining out m8 and paint it with brush on paint. Normal satin finish black paint does the trick. This is the only way i have ever had one. They dont have a soft finish when they dry but does it need to be soft? Looks mint and is the cheapest easiest way. Hope this helps

I did mine and took about 3 good coats using a spray gun.

has any body done the pillars aswell ? if the black roof skin is faded what is the best way to get it black again ?

the piller, i gave the a light rub down to key the surface and then 2 coats of plastic primer, 2 coats of normal primer and then 3 coats of paint. no laquar.

make sure you use plastic primer otherwise the paint will just flake off

i did my roof with black felt cost less than a tenner. did the purple ones roof in purple as well

you can get black dye in a rattle can gives you the smooth finishe spray paint wont cost me £3.25 of ebay used 3 cans of it looked good
