Does any1 have any idea what kinda bhp/performance a 306 will put out compared with a corsa. Will a 1.4/1.6 306 outdo a 1.4/1.6 corsa? any ideas>?

they are heavy cars compared to corsas so i would imagine a 1.6 306 will be about the same as a 1.4 corsa, and a 1.8 306 will be the same as a 1.6 corsa. Although the 1.4 corsa will give both of em a good race.

MY mate had a 1.4 306, don't even think they are fuel injected it was a steady ride anyway!

well atm im thinkin of getting a faster car but dunno whether to go corsa sport 1.4/1.6 or a 306 1.6? i wanna know what sorta performance they r gonna put out.

My mate has a 1.6 306 and it is noticably slower than my 1.4 16v Sri Corsa. They both put out 90bhp, 1.4 corsa and 1.6 306 but pug much heavier so slower.

Probably not what you wna to hear but should stick with it until you get a few years no claims cos unless your a rich bitch modding will be tough as the insurance will be fecking verticle!

well i managed to insure my 1.4 corsa last yr and a 1.6 306 is only 2 groups higher and a 1.4 corsa sport is only 3 groups higher so i can insure them both this yr as i have no claims bonus and am older.

No-one still ans his Q.

1.4 16v = 90bhp - 112mph - 0-60 in 10.5
1.6 16v (C16XE) = 109bhp -121mph - 0-60 in 8.5
1.6 16v (X16XE) = 106bhp - 119mph - 0-60mph in 9.0

I'd only own the Cabriolet 2.0litre or the XSi, or the GTi-6

No others are worth it.

i already said above that both the 1.4 16v corsa and the 1.6 pug were 90 bhp. And i said that the 1.4 corsa is faster than the 1.6 306 so:-
