Thought i'd make a quick thread to show you guys how fooked my old turbo was!

Here is my new Turbo -





Note, that black crap is hardened oil, caused by the fudged oil seals. It got that bad, the exhaust blade was seized so it wouldn't even spin





Had it fitted yesterday, bloody thing is nippy as hell now! with no blue smoke following me (well, a little as there is oil still in the exhaust, so that needs to be burnt off)

I got that BRAND NEW GM turbo for £149 inc. Vat

My question is, how much would my old turbo worth? thought it might be worth a few quid, as they could rebuild it and sell it on.

Dirty Diesel should have seen inside my EGR valve when I cleaned it out, full of shite and soot like that,

try giving it a quick clean out your self so it looks more decent, and then sell it for like £20-40 odd

you could probs make it look good as new with some degreaser and a selection of stiff brushes

Soak it in a bucket of red diesel to clean it up?
