It's what happen's when wheel's arnt preped and keyed enough for paint im afraid. Normally happen's on edges of cheap re-furb's
tbh it's an excuse to have them done a better colour than silver

If they were done with rattle cans you would of noticed it before now.
even if they were blown over with a spray gun... it's same difference.
Isn't the correct way of refurbing wheels to get them powder coated?
Spray cans tend to be 1K or cellulose, it never really hardens up... If the wheels look like they have been refurbished i.e. there are no marks on the rims then they probably didnt use the right primer for the alloy and they have been spray painted.

Personally i would be asking for at least a partial refund for a re re-furb.. if you do get some money out of them i would recomend this place to have them redone

Good luck Mr J, hope you get the situation resolved

seems to me like you have no comeback mate they will just say you've used an acidic wheel clean and a pressure washer and got to close.
on the bright side, you can get them refurbed in a better ''harder'' colour

Dont care what anyone has said regardless of them being refurbed or from ebay they shouldn't be flaking and the seller should sort them. Its not on.
Hope you get somewhere with it.

from what i can see in those pictures the metal doesnt look as if it has been prepped, so the paint wouldnt spend a long time on there
