Thats a stupid idea, as said no-one will enter there pride and joy incase they loose it!

People will enter shitter's, someone's shitter will win, then you get it modded (max power's involved) so it will be big body kits, lexus lights and neons. Then you have a chav shitter in your posession and everybody hates you

Scrap the pink slips idea and your onto a winner, decent cars vs decent cars

IMO anyways...

so does mtv or MP pay to modify you and your opponents car? Do you choose your mods, and then race each other? more info needed im abit confused

If you are a winning entrant you will be given a choice of three tuning and handling packages (so no, not lexus lights and bodykits) to be fitted to your car. Once chosen, the parts are ordered, fitted to your car and then the car is taken to the track where you will be given race tuition by the track instructors. Despite the impression some of you have, who wants to see a Corsa get done over by a Supra? The aim of the program is to match the cars closely and then it's down to the driver with their chosen mods to win the race. The winner takes home his car (modified) and their opponent's car too.

The way it works is your car gets taken to a workshop; modified to your choice of parts and then you race after getting tuition on how to get the best out of your car.

not bad suppose if you buy a cheap car or something for it.

Ahhhh i c, sounds pretty kool but TBH only thing stopping me entering is the fact i could loose my car

but i suppose some people out there drive more than 1 car

What sort of tunning packages are to be expected??

Are you going to pay the young (18-24yr old) drivers hike in insurance costs when they drive out with not one but 2 modified cars also?

On another note i'm 22 and got a CTR so could enter but I'm sure they'd think twice about modding my car when they see the price of performance parts!

thing is ... if you get given money by the production company to mod your car...

Buy a cheap car £500-£1000 - use the money from production company to mod it to a great spec... i.e. FULL strippage, high boost turbo, suspension, tyres etc...

Then rock up and beat everyone else.

The issue I'd have with a program like this, is that the 'competitions' for the cars will probably be dumb like... 'who's the quickest through cones (and the course just be rediculously tight and twisty), or who can carry the most junk in the boot, etc similar stupid games... rather than drag / track course.
