which is better for mpg and performance have a cone atm, sounds good, but only gettin 250 to a tank would i get anymore from a panel filter ?

any other benfits from rither aswell would be nice to know

panel filter. cone filters get masive heat soak if they aren't the proper enclosed ones.

that, and the fact you are flat out everywhere because of the noise doesn't help your mpg

Also it flat spots abit more on some engines, causing you to stamp it abit more

panel filters fit in standard box and therefore look tidier, less chavvy, maybe aid u icase not decalred to insurance as the standard airbox is thee

Drill some holes in your airbox and buy a panel filter, sounds nice and you get the performance.

forgot to say its on a x14xe, have a cone atm and sounds good, but was thinking on putting my standard airbox back in

panel filter with no holes is the best. although id be utterly amazed if you noticed any performance loss by using a cone filter. heat soak on cone filters on a std engine is a big internet myth
