hi all my mate had a c20let but the block let go and blew a hole in the side. hes took the head off and had it checked and everything fine and he was wondering if he bought a c20xe bottom end can he fit the let head on it and change the top hat to eco pipe. will he need to change the cams or whats involved with this. any answers could be help full thank you

I think the inlet cam is different????

There are quite a few LETs with XE blocks so just transfer everything over.

does he want to get it on the road as a XE and not an LET?

if so.

looms are diff, ecu too. cams in the head are milder so be less power.


just get a XE block drill for oil return and set of pistons/rods and away you go.

no..

you only use the inlet cam, and you need to use an adjustable veriner so you can adjust it correctly

who in there right mind goes from a let to an xe tell him to wobble his head and once he sees some sense to go and buy the xe bottom end wack all the let bits on it and as already said the xe inlet cam on a vernier, jobs a guddun
