hey guys, i am thinking of putting a functional bonnet scoop on my bonnet to feed the cabs with plenty of fresh air. I dont know if anyone has any pics of various types and sizes, but if you could put any photos you have, and the type of scoop, i would be grateful.

just to help me make the right decision really. i just want a low-profile scoop that is going to do the job nicely for me.

Havent got any piks but both Dave A and Daveb fabricated something into the scuttle along with a raised bonnet so get air flow onto tbs and in your case carbs.... dont like the look of scoops

Not really john, not without morettes, it will just look tatty under the bonnet. This will help the whole engine bay cool off as well, it is a function over form thing. If it works, im happy!

Cam kit getting ordered next week, so i want things sorted as much as possible to help my cause, and there is a distinct power loss when its warm, and its a warm day...as there is just too much hot air under the bonnet.

na, it needs to be a scoop.

i have found two possibles. an impreza style, and the isuzu trooper style. There are 470 and 620mm wide ones too, and i dont know which size to go for.

...That, along with Dan's one looks exactly what i am after. so i just need to decide now then. and guess which size those two are, and i have a feeling they are the 620mm ones.
