Well I finally had a play against a local one tonight down the new bypass thats just been built by my area and I must admit I had my ass handed to me

Once on the move I held my own right upto high speeds (highest i've been infact) but from a rolling start from 50mph it just took off like a fookin rocket.

I had a bit of sport a while ago against a BoxsterS and done very well against it and thought the older carrera wouldnt be be any problem

Anyone know what power these things are???

If its a 993, they're 285bhp, but about 300lbs/ft of torque.

U were in the LCR then?

Me and my dad shat all over an Evo 5 on the way back from Knockhill a few years ago.
I think the aerodynamics of 911s give them a god advantage over similar powered cars.

Aye the boxsters aint that impressive, I thought the S version would have been a lot quicker but they aint lol.

I've no idea what age it was, was on a private plate. Looks like a 90s version tho.

340 ish or something it was. fair fast car and one of the craziest sounding 20vt's ive ever heard. could hear it popping as it dropped down the revs from miles away. he works over the road from my work. used to hear him going to work in the morning through the industrial estate.
