As far as I'm aware (might not be accurate)
Cup doesn't have all the goodies that the normal 182 has.
Cup- less goodies, thus lighter and more raw
Normal 182 - goodies such as leather, aircon etc
182 with suspension/wheel cup pack - black wheels and slighter diff suspension
182- with spolier cup pack- bigger rear spolier, and front splitter
182 FF (full fat)- Both of the cup packs above
182 FF with recaros- only a limted number of these made
182 trophy- Only 500 made and come in red. Speedline wheels, recaros, different suspension

182 Cup and 172 Cup models are different. In that the 182 is still heavier iirc.

15kg difference as the 182 cup came with the A/c Option. Also came with better geometry and Micheline Exaltos as standard
Clio's are a mixed bag of tricks as some are so much quicker than others despite being a cup/ff/182

If you want something quick I would actually say the ph1 172 is the one to have, I compromised speed for something a bit newer though.

The thing is the difference between the variants is negligiable! You'll find some ff's will be quicker than some cups just a lot of varience from car to car and how they been run in.
Brosters cup is seriously quick he keeps telling me lies what has actually been done to it
