Voted as the most sexy motorcycle ever (well the 916).
I had another nose at these, it looks absolutly spotless, so keep it that way. As you say, it'll go up in value soon.
Sporty, 1098 with straight through termi's is mentally loud. Lot of money for that bike, but they are nice.
£262 FC is awesome

Nice looking bikes but a bit of a drop in pace from the R6 isnt it? Also check around the sump and the oil and coolant fillers for signs of lockwire. Usually such low mileage bikes that are mint were raced most of their lives and then when they are retired from the track the road kit is put back on and in essence you have a low mileage mint condition road bike. It might not be the case but its worth checking.

You want outright pace, get a thou.
I thinkyou reach a point where speed speed speed isn't the thing that attracts you. Sure if your a racer, but a roady will want a few things.
Looks 748 wins
handling R6 wins
styling 748 wins
engine noise 748 wins
exhaust noise 748 wins
performance R6 wins
originality 748 wins
class 748 wins
Jap crap 748 wins
Ok so im being pedantic now

I've had the fairings offand its fully mint and clean under there. No signs of racing as i had that doubt when i was first looking at it. But there's all the history and service stamps with it. The original person who sold the bike also bought it back. Apparently the guy's wife bought him it as a present!
Not really a change of pace tbh, i ride this a lot quicker than my R6. It just suits the way i ride and i seem to get on with it better. i have a lot more confidence in the way it handle' and drives out of corners. The R6 was too twitchy. Riding slow through traffic etc, the 748 is hard work - make the R6 feel like a comuter bike, but once theres quiet roads it becomes so much better.

I'd pick the R6 all day long but the 748 is still a sexy bike.
