finished college early today and i thought it try to remove some orange peel off my boot, (being semi smoothed soon so doesnt really matter)

before....


sanded with halfords 1500 wet and dry sand paper and lots of water and washing up liquid



first rub over with halfords rubbing compound


second rub over with halfords rubbing compound


polished with Auto Glym extra deep shine


Finished......


what you think????

btw this was all done by hand in about 20 - 30 minuites

Fair enough! 1500 is more abrasive than I'd ever use for correction work though but result looks good, just doubt there's much lacquer left on there now!

if i was gona do a full panel id get sum megs 3000 paper but i was just trying it out as the boots bein painted soon anyway! im really impressed with the result tho!

Yeh 3000 or 4000 followed by 2000 would be safest. Results look good though from the pics
