My insurance peeps told me its illegal to have 2 policies running at the same time on the same vehicle.
And the insurance policy holder must be the owner of the vehicle. No other unless you're just a named driver.

Policy holder doesn't have to be the owner (with every company anyway, not saying some don't demand it).

There is an option with Bell definitely to say whether you are the owner or not and i've came across claims with family members and the gf that they were the policy holder but not owner.
