i might be getting some reprofiled cams and was woundering weather ill need pocket pistons as their 270 degrees.. thanks

just spoke to the lad am getting them off and he said that the lift was not increased by much was more the durataion

Lift is the dimension you have to worry about I think, not duration

its the profile not just the lift and duration. but generaly speaking the longer the duration and therefore the sooner the valve opens the more likely it is to hit a piston. 270 degrees is quite mild though so should be ok.
