Alrite folks, just looking for an idea of what punishment should be expected, my gfs brother got pulled by traffic cops yesterday. He was caught at an average speed 98mph in a 60, the officer told him there is a chance he will be charged with dangerous driving. Silly silly boy and he deserves everything he gets for it, I told him he should expect at least a 6month ban and a fine, bearing in mind he is only 18. Just wondering if anyone could possibly offer any opinion as to what he should expect. Maybe they have done a similar thing....

There's a big list of what people got for different speeding offences. I forgot where I saw it tho....was it on that five-o site?

They would really need to decide the charge when the offence took place. Either way, that's a ban and a fine. And probably a re-test with his age.

i doubt he will be charged with dangerous driving but he will lose his license regardless as his6 point limit will be gone

which means re applying and re sitting his test

Yeh, insurance will kill him for a good few years. He has only had his car about a month aswell, so hes going to have lost out on a lot of money!

Think isn't it if you get 6 points in first 2 years it's an automatic ban etc?
