Never even realised they existed! That must be such a shitty car to drive, the 1.1 MK2 Fiestas are slow enough!

i had a 1.1 mk4 escort as a runabout ages ago, slow as shit, handled like it was on greasy ice and smelled funky but was amazingly reliable. water pump broke but it ran without water for ages untill i got a new pump for £20 and fitted myself in 20 minutes

If your driving to spain, do you really want to be in a cramped up old hatch thats far from comfortable? or would you rather have a big lazy saloon like a V6 vectra to munch the miles in comfort with?

Hell you should even fit all your luggage in a vectra!

My Corsa was comfy on standard suspension... but corners... hmm lol.

I also had a 1.1 MK4 Escort Dunno what I'd choose from that list
