In a nostalgic way yes as I did have many epic road trips in it. It was Lee's second every conversion which is how far back it goes.

As a reliable every day usable car however....no

Its funny how people (including myself) do an XE conversion initially as its cheaper than buying a new more powerfull car...in the long game it never works out like that does it?

yeah, girlfriend doesnt want anything older than 55 plate, think we might've agreed on a bmw 330d. Remap and 280brake, will be ok for a 'sensible' car. Got a corsa going on the road soon hopefully, couple months, white one in garage on axle stands
