The day finally came! Today I finally sold, after being on the market about 3 months. A guy just older than me took the car away for £1900, and what a complete bargain. Hes got a track day booked tomorrow though already so nice to know it will be put to good use. Will be hard not to miss it though, going to take alot to live up to it. The lift off oversteer, the power of the brakes, the way it cornered was phenomal, and the way the back end would cheekily step out under heavy breaking, so much fun. Oh well on wards and upwards.

Ooops..

Bye bye impreza...

So, the search for a new car begins. Always had my heart set on something a bit more sensible on the road, got to say though, this is a bit tempting!!...

That's a lot of car for £1900! And you know you have to buy that 16v. You'll be stunned by the difference in straight line speed from the 8v!

Haha, I know I wont buy crossies rallye. Just that immediate feeling of regret is pretty overwhelming, its the good things you remember in a car like that though. 5k miles in 2 years says it all though.

There isnt much in it mate, reason I wanted one is because they are slightly lighter. Ive always had a soft spot for rallyes being the rarer 106 aswell. If I were to do it again though id get a GTI, most S1s are well over 100k these days.
