im a white british christian and support mclaren but on this ocasion i think they were moaning about their own mistake and should have just took the 4th place.

imho it should have just stayed trulli 3rd and lewis 4th but mclaren tried to play the rules and lost simple.

i hate the stupid judgements the fia makes on these things its totaly out of hand and needs sorting.

I gave up on F1 ages ago, it bores me. Anytime there is an exciting race there is all this bullshit afterwards with penalties and complaints etc.

Give me the Moto GP anyday!

All I can say is....

WSB Round 3 is this weekend. Watch some real racing on Eurosport, 7 manufactures (i.e different engines, chassis etc), more world class riders, some Brits also doing ok.

BTCC starts this weekend (although only 1 manufacture being Vauxhall is very lame).

And next week, the big boys... MotoGP starts again.

F1 is a total sham this season but have any of you heard about next years points/scoring system????

There will be no points, whoever wins the most races wins the title. . . . . . . . .

Any comments?

How can anyone who resides in the UK, calls themselves a Brit, NOT support a British team, run by a British guy, with a British world champion, defies me? Great faith in your sporting countrymen.

Muslim by any chance?

This is a good point also, makes me laugh these muslims/asians/middle easterns, next time you hear one say 'I love this country' ask them what cricket team they support lol

Pound to a penny they dont say England

VXR - MotoGP is starting to show trends like F1 now; although its still enjoyable look at Colin Edwards spat with James Toseland over having Tech3 swapping their pit crews. Colin Edwards won't speak to James Toseland even though it was a Tech3 decision and even has a divider in the garage to separate them!

Aye, but thats 1 tiny incident. And thats not even a real major thing is it really. Its simple commen sense.

British rider - British crew cheif.

Tosleand is said to have reached a brick wall in terms of communicating with his 2008 crew chief Guy Coulon and asked team boss Herve Poncharal if he could swap to Gary Reynders, who Edwards brought to MotoGP (From WSB).

Toseland asked Herve Poncharal (T3 manager) if he could use Gary Reindeers as he crew chief as he could drive/fly with him to all the events and make more use of the time together (Gary is from the UK, so makes sense).

Herve said bascially, "if he wants to sure". Gary agreed as its the sensible thing, and Colin Edwards has reminded me who he really is under the glam of the TV face. His old childish arrogent WSB attitude came back and he's spat his dummy out. Sure Gary has been Colins crew chief for a long time, but is Colin pissed at Gary??? No reports of it. Its all Toseland...

Takes 2 to make the decision. Its the request of Colin to put the divider up.

So an internal team mate bust up, isn't quite the same as the shambles of F1 and teh FIA.

Thats not to say theres been some naughty things in MotoGP too, its just not as blatently obvious, childish, and plain rediculas.

Teams make the bikes, they are checked BEFORE the racing, signed off, riders go racing.... Simpelz

Ironically, Edwards is saying Toseland has no ethics, and his morals must be lower.....

Anyone who's ever met, or seen, or read anythign to do with Toseland will know he's one of the politest and kindest and calmest people in the paddock. A proper gentleman (well he is gay ). So just another example of Colin whinging like he does.

Although I can see why Colin would be p1ssed, if your pit chief simply quit, again would he be so mad??? Course not...

I didn't realise he was gay?!?

I was more comparing it to the Alonso/Hamilton situation from 2 seasons ago.

Local racing is where its at; much closer scrapping and people doing it purely for the love. Thats in cars/bikes/boats/anything

Yeah he's gay. Made it public a year or so ago.

Yeah same comparison, but as you say, that was 2 years ago. Lots mores happened in F1 since then.

Thing is, Button won the race....... Great result...

How much have you heard about Button, and how much have people heard about Hamilton.

Now they are talking of banning him the whole season.

F1 gets worse day by day it seems.

WORST part of it is, the incident on track has nothing to do with it. Its purely because McLaren didn't disclose the radio conversation and said there was nothign to declare. Which is poor on McLarens side.... But then Lewis would only do as he's told and he's being made to be the bad man?????

Also the manager of 30+ years has been suspended over this.

Fcuking rediculas....

Lewis 4th, Trulli 3rd, no press hype, no bad crap, simple easy result, job done, no scandle, move to the next round.

Im starting to think Ecclestone and Mosely actually enjoy all the press scandles about F1... Keeps the billions of pounds rolling in...

C*nts, and i don't use that word often
