I've not long bought a 2.2 Vectra SRi and i'm bored of it already and my dad is pestering me to buy it off me, ideally I would sell it and get a 1.8 SRi but I've found a nice 1.4 so what are they like? Is it going to be proper slow? The vectras not a fast car so I dont want it to be MUCH of a step down... I've had a 1.2 SXi and that was shockingly slow...

It is a pretty major step down from the Vectra, if you want a bit of performance you need the 1.8.

As Joe said. You'd be gutted if you're bored of the Vectra already.

Vectra is shit though, drove upto Scotch Corner the other week and it struggled on the hills all the way, feels like they have no torque at all.

Take a drive of the 1.4, but they aren't fast by any means.

Its the newer shape Vectra I've got, wouldn't go back to the old shape and wouldnt get a 3.2 GSi I do too much mileage, I've had two V6 Vectra Bs before, Also I've had a 3.0 V6 Omega Elite before. I'm debating whether the Corsas going to be too small for me, I got rid of my 172 because it felt like I was sitting on it not in it.

corsa isnt for you, if you dont want a vectra get an astra gsi or go nuts and get an insignia.
