Just bought it 1.6 8 valve in rio verde
Looking at insurance paid £450 for the car with 83k and main dealer history upto 40k and 12 months mot,not bad
Might just go for basic third party only insurance due to how much I paid for the car 9/10 it will get written off for little damage anyway
opinions?

I normally say go for fully comp but unless you can get a policy with 0 excess it won't be worth it.

Some companies like TheAA, RAC, Adrian flux are brokers.
So say you get a quote from company:
A
B
C
Say on TPFT Company A & B will hapily quote you TPFT but company C doesn't want to as it's a low level of cover etc.
So say company A quoted £1000 and B quoted £1200
But you want a quote now on Comprehensive.
Company A & B may have to quote you higher due to it being a better value policy so say could go up 20%
But now company C comes into play as they want to quote you now and their offer maybe better than that of company A & B
Get what i (sort of) mean?
