Having a fuel budget is sensible and doesnt stop you owning a performance car (see avatar) infact it helps.

Am not scared to press the go pedal or anything

Sensible and fun hardly ever belong in the same sentence together. If your not scared about putting the pedal down, your hardly being sensible, e.g. Not caring about fuel consumption

You do not put a Turbo engine in a car and worry about fuel.

Buy a diesel.......

Fuel economy is only as good as the amount of throttle you put down. LET's arn't all that bad tbh

Mine can be economical when i drive it sensible if however i don't then its not.

I budget for £30 a week petrol as sometimes i am a little heavy footed. £10 will get you nowhere imo especially if your using stuff like optimax.

Worst mine has been is half a tank to shotton and back on sunday from wigan
