Might not actually win
http://www.pistonheads.com/motorsport/default.asp?storyId=19563
quote: According to FIA president Max Mosley, the most likely outcome is that rival teams will lodge protests after Melbourne scrutineering or following the race, so official results on race day are likely to be ‘pending’ the FIA appeal when it eventually takes place.
Plus they've scrapped the rule about which ever driver wins the most races is the champion until next year

It's an absolute joke, to begin a season in such a shitty way makes me think about whether to follow it at all.

The race winnnings rule is simple ludicrus. Even Schumacher has said its a total stupid idea.
Methinks Short assed Bernie and Wipping loving Mosley are in serious trouble and have lost all logical true interest in the sport, and its a money/popularity contest.
I try to ignore the muppets that run it, and just simply watch the racing.
This year WILL be very interesting methinks. Gonan be some shaken teams out there with all this new stuff

I'll still follow it even though stuff like this is ridiculous.
I wouldn't know what to expect in terms of who is going to be at the front. I'm guessing Ferrari & McLaren but Brawn seem to be getting a bit of press so who knows.

I don't think McLaren will do so well this year. Having a few issues in pre-season testing.
It's going to be a 5-6 way battle this year I think, depending obviously how the new cars perform.
And as for Brawn racing, well Honda started making that car at the start of 2008 (as the 08 racing car was so bad). so they started before most, and Brawn has just kinda picked up the teams tab and carrying on. all the development should have been done, som im interested to see how they do. I don't think they will be ass end running, probably mid pack, but will be interesting.
