From what ice heard its full of wasters with no dosh wanting to 'swop' for x, y, or z.
Get it on Autotrader? Mind that 1.4 Golf I had up for sale you said you hoped to see a sub £2k price on...............well 3 days on AT & it went for 2500!! Its genuinly the best place to sell your car.
Ebay would be my last chance saloon, I know some folk have had good experiences but I just dont like it for selling cars.

I 100% agree with Autotrader being best. Never used ebay for selling before so thought I'd give it a try. Had a lot of interest tonight and people asking all the right questions so will see what happens.
If it doesnt meet reserve or I get messed around I'll chuck it on AT, never had a car last longer than a week on there.

I've sold two, the Freelander to one person who moaned like a child about every single detail even though he hadn't seen it before bidding.
Discovery which was actually listed four times and didn't sell once. Everyone who turned up changed their minds and generally faffed about either because they hadn't read the description, or choose to ignore it, or just were generally stupid.

Ive sold a fair few on there. The problem with ebay is everyone wants stuff for nothing and none of them have any real money. They will send you stupid offers "yeah ill give you £250 cash tonight mate for your corsa gsi thats clearly worth £1250" or "ill swap it for my nans mates lada riva with a sunstrip mate"
Plus ebay charge silly final value fees. IF you sell a car on ebay sell it out of auction, otherwise they will rape you with final value fees.

I sold a Gsxr on their not too long ago, guy turned up at 10pm in the pitch black, offers £200 less then his bidded price.
Seems a weird place to sell vehicles, I had 50 people watching and no one bidded.
Get silly offers for px plus cash.
Offered laptops, same vehicles :/
Idiots bidding from USA or Germany when its says cash on collection only...
And yes they will rape you on the fees.
Was a total of almost £50 for 2 listings and final sellers fee, not worth it.
If you have a good car with a good price you can sell it via gumtree, autotrader etc.

I sold my old Pulsar on Ebay.
Was up for £3500 B.I.N and within 4hrs it was sold. The guy who bought it had no feedback and had just signed up that day.
Came all the way from Wick(very top of Scotland)via plane and bus etc.
However i did forget to mention to contact me 1st outside of ebay and because it sold on ebay they wanted silly money for the fees.Didnt pay,got my account wiped and started a new 1.
