Good because i know have a nice black roof lining and a pillars and actually built the rest of my interior up:cool Will get some pics in the light tomorrow)
And then went to look at a house, love it and said id have it. Went to get a take away as a little celebration. about half a mile from the take away i hear a knocking noise for a couple of seconds and then start to smell hot oil
Pulled up at the takeaway and somehow my oil filler cap had come off, spraying oil all over my freshly cleaned and polished engine bay
(Just getting pics off my phone now)
So all in all be nice to your car and then they break

As long as there is still enough oil in the engine, don't worry about it, you can always clean it up.
It didn't run too low did it?

were you giving it some beans or what? That seems like it was an awful lots of pressure in the system there - when I removed my oil cap when the engine was running (albeit at idle), I had a few random drops come out but that's a hell of a lot of oil!

I recommend an oil change. That is minging. My Gti has 112k on the clock and 2k miles after the service the oil still looks like new.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
