thoughts so far?

Are McLaren really that far off the pace, and are BrawnGP really that quick

I cant see McLaren being 'slow' for long..... and I think BGP may be running very light (no ballast), but they must have a fairly competative car anyway... near the top.

I had high hope for RedBull, but they seem to have simmered down a bit now. Their car looks great though.

Yeh someone in my office was saying

'Brawn GP are going to be the leaders this year' ... 'Mercedes will just be another mid runner'.

I just said 'bullshit'...

Pre season testing rarely shows the 'fastest' cars / drivers...

I expect this proves nothing and it'll still be mercedes / ferrari near the front.

I think McLaren are having genuine 'issues' though I dont think they'd go on record to say they were struggling if it was all sandbagging.

Still, they have the budget and experience to get it sorted out.
