You considdered using the Werkstat Acrylic Kit?
Thats a sealant as apposed to a wax, but it gives much better results on light metallic colours.
This is the sort of shine and wet look it can give on silver and even solid white cars.





Its recommended by most detailers for silver cars.

Werkstatt or Zaino are very good sealants for light coloured cars. Not the easiest thing for somebody who doesn't do it day in, day out to master though

My dad uses Werkstatt on the 911, and says he finds it quite easy to use.
A lot easier than Zymol anyway but i've heard most things are.

I'm gonna do what Rich suggested me thinks and just put a layer on each week for a month and then see where we at.
