I dont know if any of you remember, but I had a letter from the police recently telling me they were REMOVING (!) the 3 points from my license and returning the £60 fine due to their error. Theyve had my license for over 3 weeks now so I was just looking for contact info, and came across this article...

yeah but what about refunding insurance as they have to declare the speeding bit and renew insurance as and when their policy ran out
surely if i got done wrongly and my insurance ran out and renewed it and got a fine and point taken off it means that im paying extra.
or would you inform insurance it has been resinded and pay lees for rest of the policy????????
