first problem

when i put it into 1st it makes a whiring sound :S

second problem

it sometimes wont go into 3rd gear :S

any ideas guys its realy anoying

Gear linkage may have slipped, try setting it up again.

if its the linkage thats gone there not much that can really go wrong on them, will find the bushes have worn which you can get stronger one off lmf vauxhall, id try and set it up again and see if its just not popped out slightly, did the ever go perfect?

did it ever go with no problems? ie was 1st gear ever silent and did it ever go into 3rd first time?
