they might if they think it would be an easier car to sell then the one they have and mark the price up abit to make more money rather then cut even

I've no idea what the values of each car were mate.
It was a few years back and it was a pre facelift c sxi on a 52 plate with a big dent in the front wing from someone who hit it and drove off for a pre facelift Vectra GSi on a T plate.
I didn't have the cash for the car, so just went in and asked
